Eco Camp Master Plan | Great Cacapon, West Virginia
This Eco Retreat Combines a number of key green elements. One of the more unusual ones is that the main building’s solar PV panels will charge car batteries that will be securely placed into each dwelling location when a guest arrives. They will be provided with instructions that explain how much power they have. So it will be ‘better than camping’, but more challenging than a motel. The power will all be generated ‘net zero’ on site.
A farm area and hot house will provide fruit and vegetables, while a chicken coop and tilapia pond will augment the food choices. The goal is to have 80% of the food served produced on site.
