O’Hare International Airport – Terminal 5, Chicago, Illinois
The proposed Chicago-based Metropolis Coffee Company is prominently located at the central axis of the terminal. The design aesthetic is one of Art Moderne imagery. The supersized curved 'Metropolis' graphics, the rotating globe, the DC-3, and the world clocks all hearken back to the excitement of early aviation.
